Resolution:


"Retry" status of the request means that workflow request needs to borrow credential from the credential pool for execution, however credentials are not available in the pool, so it keeps on retrying to borrow credential from the pool. Now, here --credentials not available-- can mean any of the following:
  1. All the existing credentials from the pool are already in use by other requests. That means, tenant admin may need to add more credentials to the pool as per their request generation load.
  2. All the existing credentials from the pool are expired. 
As of release 7.5.0, we have the following values for request status:

Note:
This status is only applicable/visible to the tenant having CONSUMPTION type of a license. If failed request is restarted for execution, then parent request status is changed to "Resubmitted" and AE Server creates a new request.
