Issue : 

Unable to start agent with system proxy setting and Issue working with DBC-Captcha plugin on AE v 6.0, gives the below error.

We get the below error when the (Automatic Configuration) proxy file is downloaded in AGENT_HOME/conf directory, but the Server IP is not mentioned in the proxy exception list.

You will experience the below issue when you start the agent without proxy, agent starts, but after executing DBC-Captcha Plugin, agent gives an error(this will not have Server IP is not mentioned in the proxy exception list):

Agent needs proxy to connect to DBC while running workflow, if there is no proxy. Once we deploy proxy configuration on the agent, every HTTP request starts going through Proxy server where it rejects the requests coming for AutomationEdge server which probably was in the same network.

How to reproduce:

You can remove the Proxy configuration at the system level (Internet Options -> Connections -> LAN Settings) also remove AE Server IP address from the exception list.


Resolution:

To resolve this issue, we need to configure the bellow proxy settings in the Agent Machine:

- Need to set Proxy configuration at the system level (Internet Options -> Connections -> LAN Settings) and need to add AutomationEdge Server’s IP Address in the exception list.
- Along with this, you can also download and deploy “Automatic Configuration” Proxy config file (AEUI -> Settings -> Proxy Settings) under AGENT_HOME/conf directory to resolve the issue.
