Error : Desktop Runtime Port is not specified - Process Studio
Issue:
- While executing “Desktop Start” in Process Studio we get an error as mentioned below, even though the Desktop Port was Specified.

2021-05-04 18:16:55 WF_GetLstFIles - Desktop Start ERROR ProcessStudioException:54 - Desktop Runtime Port is not specified.
2021-05-04 18:16:55 WF_GetLstFIles - Desktop Start ERROR BaseStep:2951 - Desktop Runtime Port is not specified.
- This will happen when you add a parameter with the name WF_INSTANCE_ID in Process.
How to reproduce :
- You can add a Parameter in process as named as WF_INSTANCE_ID in Process to reproduce the issue.
Resolution:
- To resolve this we can remove the Parameter WF_INSTANCE_ID, that is used while executing the process in Agent.
- You can also rename the parameter WF_INSTANCE_ID to other Parameter Name to avoid this issue.
- You can use this parameter when you are executing the process in agent and remove/rename it when working with Process Studio.
